These terms govern your use of this website. The short version: the site gives you honest information and ways to reach us; the actual moving work is contracted separately, in writing, as New Jersey law requires. The long version follows — numbered, so you can cite it back at us.
The agreement
This website is operated for Paramus Moving Inc. (“we,” “us”). By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, do not use the site. These terms cover the website only — a move is performed under a separate written agreement, with its own terms, made when you book.

Estimates, the calculator, and pricing
- Nothing on this site is a quoteCost figures shown here — including the cost calculator — are orientation drawn from published industry data and are clearly labeled as such. They are not offers and not binding.
- The written estimate is the real numberNew Jersey’s public-mover regulations require a licensed mover to provide a written estimate. Ours is prepared after an in-home or virtual survey and given to you before you commit.
- Submitting a form is not a bookingAn estimate request asks us to contact you. It does not reserve a date, and no date is reserved until the office confirms it with you directly.
- ErrorsWe correct mistakes on this site when we find them, and honest figures can go stale between reviews. Where a page and your written estimate differ, the written estimate governs.
The chat assistant
The chat assistant (“Dolly”) is an automated AI tool, provided to answer general questions and take callback requests. It is not a person, and despite our best efforts it can be wrong.
- Not bindingNothing the assistant says is a quote, a booking confirmation, or a promise of availability. Confirm anything that matters with the office at (201) 652-5554.
- MonitoredConversations are logged and reviewed to keep the assistant accurate. Details are in the privacy policy.
- Fair useThe chat exists for questions about moving services. Automated, abusive, or unrelated use is blocked by rate limiting and may be barred entirely.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse the formsNo scraping, bulk submission, or submitting another person’s information without their permission.
- Probe or disruptNo attempting to breach, overload, test, or interfere with the site’s security or operation.
- MisrepresentNo impersonating the company or presenting this site’s content as your own.
- Break the lawNo use of this site in violation of any applicable law.
Form and chat submissions are rate-limited and filtered; we may block traffic that abuses them.
Content and intellectual property
The content of this site — text, photographs, the Paramus Moving Inc. name and logotype, and the site’s design — belongs to the company or its licensors. You may read, print, and share links freely; you may not republish the content commercially or use the company’s name and marks without permission.
Government data referenced on this site (license records, federal safety records) is public information, and we encourage you to verify it at the source — the licensing page links directly to the official registries.
Third-party sites and services
This site links to third parties — review platforms, social networks, government registries — and embeds services such as maps and fonts. Those sites and services have their own terms and policies, which govern your use of them. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content.
Disclaimers

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website — including reliance on orientation figures that these terms and the pages themselves tell you are not quotes.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in it applies to the performance of an actual move, which is governed by your written moving agreement and by state and federal moving regulations.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Bergen County, New Jersey, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
Changes, and how to reach us
